Harrington Family I Papago Park Family Session I Phoenix, Arizona

This photo session is particularly special to me because I got to photograph my adorable nephew, Lincoln (aka Linc), and his parents!

Sophay and Jake were introduced to each other by a mutual friend and have been inseparable ever since. Jake proposed to Sophay on the anniversary of their first date six years into the relationship, and creatively incorporated the movie ticket stubs he saved from that day! They got married in 2011, and I like to think that Linc came to be (albeit much later) because of the speech I gave as Maid of Honor at their wedding. If you know them, ask about the speech…haha!

Linc is a ball of energy and fun, and kept us on our toes. He was more interested in the picnic and eating than being in the photos, but I managed to get him to smile and dance for some shots. 

Jake has been a golf coach since 2007, and to pursue his passion, he and Sophay relocated from Phoenix to Arkansas three years ago when he accepted a position as the Director of Golf at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Although we miss seeing them on a frequent basis, we are happy to soak up any time we can get, especially with my nephew, the future Masters Tournament Champion. :)
