Kim and David I Engagement Photo Session I Scottsdale, Arizona
Kim, a Physician's Assistant, and David, a Physical Therapist, met at a mutual friend's engagement party and have been together for seven years! Their love story is unique to them - Kim took the initiative to ask David out and invited him for shaved ice one evening - you go girl! They had such a connection that the evening progressed naturally to a late night dinner.
David proposed to Kim last December, in the middle of the week, and although Kim knew David was going to propose at some point, she didn't expect it that evening. It was just the two of them, no cameras or bystanders, and Kim was experiencing a terrible cold. They had recently started a Korean drama series called 'Birth of a Beauty' and Kim didn't think anything about it when he said he wanted to watch the show with her (which in hindsight, she thought was odd). That evening's episode showed a pivotal moment in the drama: the leading man finally confesses his love for the leading lady. Then, the subtitles flashed across the screen: "Kim, will you marry me?" At first Kim was very confused because her initial reaction was, "Kim? That's not the leading actress' name. And why is David kneeling?" David truly surprised her, and that's when Kim knew David truly loved her - his proposal executed in an intimate and thoughtful fashion.
Although David is a man of few words, he makes his love for Kim known in other ways. He makes her feel comfortable, and knows how to diffuse stressful situations to make Kim smile. Kim loves that they accept each other's imperfections and help one another grow.
Kim and David were such an easy couple to photograph, and were game for anything! This lovely couple had such great chemistry and personalities, which made the photo session a fun time! The love they have for each other was evident during the photo session, and David's fun nature made Kim and I giggle! They have such a strong foundation and I totally see them growing old together.
